PGM Best B.Sc Microbiology Colleges in Kottayam proudly hosted a Management Development Programme (MDP) on Food Safety & Quality Management in collaboration with the MSME Technology Development Centre (PPDC), Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Extension Centre, Thiruvalla. The five-day program, conducted from January 20 to 24, 2025, aimed to equip participants with practical knowledge and industry-relevant skills in the area of food safety.
Led by Mr. Ajay Kumar V R, a well-known Food Safety Trainer, the sessions offered deep insights into key food safety concepts such as HACCP, FSSAI guidelines, quality assurance protocols, hygiene management, and best practices in food manufacturing and processing industries.
The program was attended by undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Microbiology and Management departments, along with faculty members and professionals from related sectors. Through a mix of lectures, real-world case studies, and interactive Q&A sessions, the MDP created a highly engaging and enriching learning environment.
This initiative reinforces PGM College’s dedication to offering industry-oriented training and empowering students with the tools and knowledge necessary for building successful careers in the food safety and quality management sectors.
