Empowering Change Through Learning
PGM College (P. Gheevarghese Memorial College), located in Kangazha, Kottayam, was established in the year 2005. It is a self-financing arts and science institution functioning under the Manohar Hill Charitable Trust. The College was the dream of the late Shri. Varghese Paul, a Kottayam-based industrialist and philanthropist. The college is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi (MG) University, Kottayam, and recognized by AICTE.
Since its inception, the college has expanded from basic offerings to a diverse portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The College started with courses like BSc Microbiology, B.Com (Computer Application, Finance & Taxation), BCA, and BBA. Over time, it added Master's programs including M.Com and MSc Microbiology. B.A Animation and Graphic Design and B.A Animation and Visual Effects were added in the year 2022. In order to cater to the skill enhancement in students, various Add on and short term courses were implemented from the year 2021. Over the past two decades, PGM College has nurtured and produced exceptional individuals who have gone to excel in various corners of the globe, leading fulfilling lives
