Training for placement has become inevitable in today’s highly competitive job market. Keeping this in view, PGM has constituted Training And Placement Department that functions year round to provide students adequate training and assistance to achieve their career goals. The Department consists of both students and Faculty Members selected from all the departments in the college.
The Goal of the Training & Placement Cell is to train students year round on employability skills and positive mind-sets to assist them in their choice of career and give better placements. The Cell on regular basis conducts and carries out training sessions on:
Soft Skills and Personality Development
Corporate Grooming & Etiquette
Business English
Communication Skill
Interview Skills
Group Discussion
Resume Preparation
Aptitude Training and other company specific trainings.
The Training &Placement department is in constant contact with reputed companies and recruiters from different sectors. On Campus, Off Campus and Pool Campus interviews are arranged to enhance the placements at PGM. T& P cell makes every effort to associate Industry and Institute through various programmes such as Students’ Internship, Talks by industry delegates, Special sessions and trainings by industry experts and many more.
The training and placement cell at PGM acts as a bridge between the industry and the college and does not leave any stone unturned to provide better placements to students who opt for placement.
